A tragic accident occurred on March 11 in Los Angeles, California, when 46-year-old Yexenia Gonzalez was struck and killed by a train in the Glassell Park area. Authorities said the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. near 2705 Media Drive, between the Glendale and L.A. Union stations, when an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train hit Gonzalez. She was pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
