45-Year-Old Portsha Sapp Killed in Edmonds, WA Accident

Vehicle plunged off Edmonds ferry dock during police pursuit

A tragic accident occurred on June 17 in Edmonds, Washington, when 45-year-old Portsha C. Sapp was killed after a fleeing vehicle went off the end of the Edmonds Ferry Terminal into the water. The crash happened around 11:10 p.m. during a high-speed police chase involving a Mini Cooper. Sapp was one of two people killed. Three others were seriously injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
