45-Year-Old Manuel Gonzalez Killed In Kenansville, NC AccidentU-Haul accident on Highway 11Posted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Saturday, February 20 at about 10:11 AM in Kenansville, North Carolina. 45-year-old Manuel Gonzalez was sadly killed when the vehicle that he was a passenger in was struck by a U-Haul that lost control on Highway 11. 62-year-old Emiliano Yanez was operating a Chevy equinox, in which Gonzalez was a passenger in. 75-year-old Charlotte Gross, who was driving a U-Haul, went off the road to the right, struck a bridge guard rail, and then went left of center. The U-Haul then collided with the Equinox and both Gonzalez and Yanez were sadly killed in the wreck. Gross was charged with two counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
