45-Year-Old Danielle Caron Injured In Altona, NY Accident

Two vehicle wreck on Military Turnpike

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday January 8th in Altona, New York. 45-year-old Danielle Caron was seriously injured at the hands of an alleged drunk driver in a two-vehicle accident on Military Turnpike. 57-year-old Mark Peryer has been charged with DWI.  Ms. Caron, a resident of Plattsburgh, was driving south on Military Turnpike near Recore Road at about 6:20 p.m. when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Peryer. She was transported to Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh with unspecified injuries. Mr. Peryer was charged with DWI and multiple traffic tickets.
