45-Year-Old Samrat Kakkari Killed in Lake, CA Accident

Ejected in DUI crash on Big Canyon Road

 A tragic accident occurred on July 20 in Lake County, California, when 45-year-old Samrat Kakkari was killed in a DUI crash. Around 6:58 p.m., a Dodge truck speeding on Big Canyon Road lost control and overturned. Kakkari, the front-seat passenger, was ejected and fatally crushed. The driver, a 44-year-old Calistoga man, was arrested for DUI and manslaughter. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
