44-Year-Old William Daniels Killed in Spokane, WA Accident

Hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Newport Highway

A tragic accident occurred on June 20 in Spokane, Washington, when 44-year-old William Daniels was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Newport Highway at about 4:15 a.m. Authorities said Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a vehicle that fled. A 63-year-old man later turned himself in and was booked into Spokane County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
