44-Year-Old Verdell Nieves Injured In Nisqually, WA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, January 3rd in Nisqually, Washington. 44-year-old Verdell Nieves was injured in an accident involving seven vehicles along ice-covered Route 510 . According to the Washington State Patrol, icy conditions contributed to the crash which occurred just east of milepost 8. The collision, which happened in the westbound lanes, closed the road for just over three hours. Nieves was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia for treatment.
