A tragic accident occurred on May 16 in Oakland, California, when  44-year-old Miguel Sanchez Ramirez was struck by a pickup truck while standing outside East Bay Market & Liquor. Authorities said the teen driver was allegedly speeding before the vehicle drove onto the sidewalk during the incident. Ramirez was among multiple people killed, and several others were injured. A 17-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoingWe send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
