Bicyclist fatally hit by car at Redondo Avenue and East 2nd Street

A tragic accident occurred on February 7 in Long Beach, California, when 44-year-old Lori Ann Carreon, an occupational therapist, was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle southbound on Redondo Avenue just before 5 p.m. The driver fled the scene. She died at a nearby hospital. Authorities are investigating and seeking information. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
