44-Year-Old Kyle Denis Arrested In Southbury, CT Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 18th in Southbury, Connecticut.  44-year-old Kyle Denis was arrested after he was allegedly drunk when he crashed his vehicle into a tow truck stopped on Interstate-84. The resulting collision killed a passenger riding in the man's vehicle. Preliminary info is that a vehicle stopped in the shoulder was changing a flat tire and was being assisted by a tow truck operator. A third car — driven by Kyle St. Denis — crossed into the right shoulder for unknown reasons and slammed into the rear of the tow truck, which then struck the operator. An unidentified passenger in Denis' Ram sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the wreck. Sadly, they died at the scene. Denis was given a Standardized Field Sobriety Test after showing signs of intoxication. He failed the test, following which he was taken into custody and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/and or alcohol and failure to maintain a proper lane.
