43-Year-Old Bernadine Lewis Killed In Bedford Stuyvesant, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on June 24th in Bedford Stuyvesant, New York. 43-year-old Bernadine Lewis was riding a motorized scooter at the intersection of Throop and Lexington Avenues when a dark-colored Hyundai struck the scooter, knocking Lewis to the roadway. Lewis was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the sedan did not stop at the scene, police said.
