43-Year-Old Shane Voris Killed in Bakersfield, CA Accident

Pedestrian dies after being struck by multiple vehicles

A tragic accident occurred on July 19 in Bakersfield, California, when 43-year-old Shane Voris was struck by a vehicle on Highway 99 south of White Lane just before 2 a.m. Several other vehicles then hit him. Voris was pronounced dead at the scene. Some drivers remained, while others fled. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
