42-Year-Old Matthew Matuza Killed In Islandia, NY Accident

Motorcycle wreck on Motor Parkway

Tragic accident on Friday, September 10 at around 7 AM in Islandia, New York. 42-year-old Matthew Matuza was tragically killed when his motorcycle was struck by an SUV on Motor Parkway and Veterans Memorial Highway. The victim was riding his Ducati motorcycle eastbound when he was struck by a Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 23-year-old Rachel Grube. Grube was attempting to make a left turn when the collision occurred. The victim then rolled under a Ford stopped at the intersection. Matuza was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
