42-Year-Old Christopher Young Killed In Smith, TX Accident

 Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, January 29, at 9:46 PM In Smith, Texas. 42-year-old Christopher Young was tragically killed after being rear-ended by a semi-truck on Interstate 20. Young was driving a Chevrolet east on I-20 at low speed with its hazard lights on due to a vehicle malfunction. He was then struck by a 2012 Volvo truck-tractor rig driven by 38-year-old Reynaldo Aparico. The Texas Department of Public safety reported  that Aparico failed to control the vehicle’s speed and struck the Chevrolet. Sadly, Young was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Chevrolet, was transported to UT Health East Texas- Tyler for treatment of her injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
