A tragic accident occurred on May 25 in central Fresno, California, when 42-year-old Richard Cortes was involved in a hit-and-run collision on Olive Avenue. Authorities said a silver Jeep made a left turn in front of his vehicle, leading to a crash. Cortes was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries on May 30.
