Head-on collision involving TRAX bus on Highway 99W

A tragic accident occurred on January 14 in Tehama County, California, when 42-year-old Casandra Ann Moreno was killed in a head-on collision between a TRAX bus and a Toyota Tacoma pickup on Highway 99W near Gyle Road. Authorities said the pickup crossed the centerline around 10 a.m., causing the bus to become fully engulfed in flames. Moreno, a passenger on the bus, died from her injuries.
