41-Year-Old Corey Burnham Killed in Winchester, CA Accident

Pedestrian fatally struck on Highway 79

A tragic accident occurred on August 28 in Winchester, California, when 41-year-old Corey Burnham was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 79 near Stetson Avenue. The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. when a 21-year-old man hit Burnham while traveling on the two-lane roadway. Sadly, Burnham, a resident of Hemet, died at the scene despite rapid emergency response. The driver remained at the scene as authorities launched an investigation.
