A tragic accident occurred on June 27 in Stockton, California, when 41-year-old James Federer was killed in a hit-and-run bicycle crash on Eight Mile Road near Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park. Authorities said an eastbound vehicle struck Federer, who was riding a bicycle pulling a shopping cart. He and his two dogs died from their injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
