A tragic accident occurred on October 5 in Bakersfield, California, when 41-year-old Angel Barraza Garcia of Paramount was killed in a motorcycle crash. The collision happened around 11:30 a.m. on Interstate 5 near the Grapevine when an SUV attempted an illegal U-turn through a turn-thru, striking Garcia and another motorcyclist, Edgar Romo.
