41-Year-Old Angad Hira Killed in Newport Beach, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on June 24 in Newport Beach, California, when 41-year-old Angad Singh Hira was struck and killed by a vehicle on the westbound lanes of East Coast Highway west of Newport Coast Drive at about 12:45 p.m. Authorities said witnesses attempted lifesaving measures before emergency crews arrived, but Hira was pronounced dead at the scene. No information about the vehicle or driver has been released. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
