A tragic accident occurred on June 25 in Fresno, California, when 41-year-old Alina Ortega was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Ventura and F streets just before 9 p.m. Authorities said a dark-colored SUV struck Ortega. She was transported to a hospital, where she died from her injuries. The driver fled the scene. The investigation remains ongoing. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
