40-Year-Old Nereida Benitez Killed in Fallbrook, CA Accident

Multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 claims two lives

A tragic accident occurred on June 11 in Fallbrook, California, when 40-year-old Nereida Benitez was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 near State Route 76 at about 4:30 a.m. Authorities said Benitez and another person were pronounced dead at the scene. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Benitez, while officials continue investigating the circumstances of the crash. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
