Struck by Truck on U.S. Route 59 After Exiting Vehicle

A tragic accident occurred on May 30 near Diboll, Texas, when 40-year-old Nathaniel Jared Yinger was fatally struck by an 18-wheeler on U.S. Route 59. Yinger, from Maryland, had exited his disabled Honda Fit, which was stuck in the northbound lanes, when a Kenworth truck transporting passenger cars hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
