Pedestrian struck on Airport Road

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, December 11 in Everett, Washington. 40-year-old Mario Velasquez was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at an intersection in the 11900 block of Airport Road. A black Lexus, that had a green light, was traveling southbound when he struck the pedestrian. The victim was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center, where he tragically later died due to blunt force injuries sustained in the collision. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim
