Tragic accident that occurred on October 4 in Birmingham, Alabama. 40-year-old Marcus Del Lofton was struck and killed by an Amtrak passenger train at 15th Place Southwest at Pearson Avenue Southwest. Sadly, Lofton died at the scene.The crash remains under investigation by the Birmingham Police Department. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
