Tragic accident that occurred on August 29 in Oxnard, California. 40-year-old Carlos Flores lost his life after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver near the intersection of Ventura Road and Ninth Street. The driver fled from the scene. Flores was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he later died. The accident remains under investigation.
