40-Year-Old Caleb Wear Killed In Mills, IA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 21st in Mills, Iowa. 40-year-old Caleb Wear lost his life when the motorcycle he was driving was hit from behind by a minivan along Interstate 29.  47-year-old Bharatkumar Patel was operating a Toyota Sienna minivan northbound when they struck the back of a 2006 Harley Davidson FLH TI driven by Wear. After impact, both the Toyota and Harley Davidson careened off the road and into a ditch. Wear was taken by helicopter to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he sadly succumbed to injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
