4-Year-Old Kaylynn Mendez Killed In Conklin, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 21st in Conklin, New York. 4-year-old Kaylynn Mendez was tragically killed when the Dodge Charger that she was an occupant in came in contact with a Chevy Silverado. The tragedy unfolded on Murphy Road near the intersection with Ketchum Road. A preliminary investigation revealed that the Dodge — driven by 36-year-old Michael L. McDonald collided head-on with the Silverado pickup truck driven by 53-year-old Christopher M. Davidson. Mendez suffered brain damage, and she tragically later died at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Multiple other victims were injured in the wreck. No other information was released immediately about the condition of all the injured victims. The tragic incident remains under investigation by the state police.
