39-Year-Old Sean Michael Jones Charged In Fatal Brandon, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, January 9th in Brandon, Florida. A 44-year-old Wimauma man was tragically killed in a multi-vehicle crash caused by 39-year-old Sean Michael Jones. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident occurred at at the intersection of U.S. 301 and State Route 60, when a vehicle driven by Mr. Jones ran a red light, colliding with the victim’s pickup truck. The impact of the collision caused Jones to rotate across the intersection and crash into two other vehicles, while the pickup truck he initially hit, spun onto the roadway shoulder and crashed into a utility pole.  Jones has been charged with DUI manslaughter.
