Motorcyclist dies after collision with truck in Orcutt

A tragic accident occurred on August 16 in Orcutt, California, when 39-year-old Raymond Abernathy III was killed in a motorcycle crash near Orcutt Road and Siler Lane. According to authorities, Abernathy was riding his black Suzuki northbound when a Chevrolet truck turning left pulled in front of him. The motorcycle struck the truck’s rear, throwing him onto a Mercedes before landing on the roadway. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
