39-Year-Old William Porter Killed in Kern County, CA Accident

Bicyclist dies after collision on Weedpatch Highway

A tragic accident occurred on June 4 in Kern County, California, when 39-year-old William Gerry Porter was riding a bicycle on Weedpatch Highway south of Eucalyptus Drive. Authorities said Porter stopped in the roadway for unknown reasons and was struck by an Infiniti sedan. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the crash site.
