Crash Involved SUV Making Illegal U-Turn on I-5

A tragic accident occurred on October 5 in Bakersfield, California, when 39-year-old Edgar Romo was injured in a motorcycle crash. The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Interstate 5 near the Grapevine when an SUV attempted an illegal U-turn through a turn-thru, striking Romo and another motorcyclist. Romo was taken to Kern Medical Hospital for treatment. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim and his family.
