Pedestrian dies after hit-and-run crash at East 12th Street intersection

A tragic accident occurred on April 16 in Oakland, California, when 39-year-old Ambrose Hicks was struck by a vehicle at East 12th Street and 22nd Avenue while walking in a crosswalk. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The driver fled the scene and has not been located. The investigation is ongoing.
