38-Year-Old Stephen Severne Hughes Injured in Jones County, TX Acciden

Wrangler struck by passing SUV on FM 600

A tragic accident occurred on December 16 in Jones County, Texas, when 38-year-old Stephen Severne Hughes was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market Road 600. According to DPS, Hughes was driving a Jeep Wrangler when a Jeep Grand Cherokee attempted to pass in a no-passing zone and struck the Wrangler in the southbound lane. Hughes was transported to Hendrick North Hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
