A tragic accident occurred on September 14 in Corpus Christi, Texas, when 38-year-old Rene Govea was killed in a DUI-related crash at Weber Road near Holly Road. Authorities said a vehicle failed to yield while making a left turn, causing a collision that ejected multiple people. Govea was pronounced dead at the scene, while his passenger suffered serious injuries. The other driver was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
