Man dies after being struck on 14 Freeway

A tragic accident occurred on August 10 in Acton, California, when 38-year-old Rigoberto Antonio Lemus was killed after his pickup ran out of gas on the southbound 14 Freeway near Ward Road. According to CHP, Lemus was standing behind his truck around 11 p.m. when a passing sedan struck him. He later died from his injuries. The driver remained at the scene.
