Mother of two dies in wrong-way collision

A tragic accident occurred on July 21 in Hawthorne, California, when 38-year-old Myeisha Darlene Pierson was killed in a wrong-way accident on the 405 Freeway. According to law enforcement, Pierson was driving north when a southbound vehicle entered the lanes in the wrong direction and collided with her car. The wrong-way motorist was suspected of driving under the influence. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
