A tragic accident occurred on October 26 in Oildale, California, when 38-year-old Melani Joann Seeger was struck by a northbound vehicle while walking along Airport Drive near Roberts Lane. The driver fled the scene and has not yet been located. Seeger, of Bakersfield, sadly died at the site of the crash. Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators at 661-396-6600.
