Bicyclist dies after being struck by fleeing vehicle on 23rd Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on April 29 in Oakland, California, when 38-year-old Batholomew Fitzgerald Drawsand was struck by a vehicle near E. 22nd Street and 23rd Avenue. Authorities said the driver fled the scene. Drawsand was taken to a hospital with critical injuries and later died. The suspect remains unidentified. The investigation is ongoing.
