Woman killed in alleged DUI collision; driver arrested

A tragic accident occurred on August 22 in Long Beach, California, when a woman was killed in an accident involving an alleged drunken driver. According to police, the unidentified victim was a passenger in a Chevrolet that was struck by a speeding Volvo allegedly driven by 38-year-old Adalberto Delgado-Perez around 2:40 p.m. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Delgado-Perez later returned and was arrested on DUI, hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
