Subsequently, Dewey’s vehicle struck the box truck. She was taken to KSB hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She was later airlifted to OSF Saint Anthony. The driver of the box truck, 35-year-old Jaunot Nelson, was ticketed for disregarding an official traffic control device and failure to stop at an intersection.
