37-Year-Old Jerod Bancroft Injured in Lincoln County, WA Accident

Man airlifted after wrong-way head-on collision

A serious accident occurred on July 30 in Lincoln County, Washington, when 37-year-old Jerod W. Bancroft was injured in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 2, about six miles east of Davenport. Authorities said an elderly driver traveled the wrong way before striking Bancroft's sedan. Bancroft was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center. The other driver was cited for negligent driving. The accident remains under investigation.
