37-Year-Old Estevan Whitfield Killed in Valencia, CA Accident

Motorist run over in chain-reaction collision on I-5

A tragic accident occurred on December 25 in Valencia, California, when 37-year-old Estevan Whitfield, of Sacramento, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 5 just south of Magic Mountain Parkway. After exiting his Toyota following a prior collision, Whitfield was struck by a GMC, triggering a chain-reaction crash. He died at the scene. CHP is investigating and seeking information from the public. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
