36-Year-Old Nicholas Zumbro Killed in Gainesville, TX Accident

Struck on East U.S. Highway 82

A tragic accident occurred on December 31 in Gainesville, Texas, when 36-year-old Nicholas Zumbro was struck by an SUV while walking in a traffic lane on the railroad overpass in the 100 block of East U.S. Highway 82. He was transported to North Texas Medical Center, where he later died. The driver remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
