Driver fled the scene after striking pedestrian

A tragic accident occurred on October 8 in Oildale, California, when 36-year-old Joshua Scott Pierson was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver. Around 1 a.m., Pierson was crossing Roberts Lane near Plymouth Avenue when a black Honda Accord hit him and fled. The vehicle was later found, but the suspect remains at large.
