36-Year-Old Adam Chapa Killed in Jim Wells County, TX Accident

Man dies after rear-end collision on Texas 44

A tragic accident occurred on July 22 in Jim Wells County, Texas, when 36-year-old Adam Chapa was stopped on Texas 44 preparing to turn left onto County Road 338 and was struck from behind by a pickup truck. Chapa was transported to CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital in Alice, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 9:30 p.m. Two passengers and the other driver were hospitalized. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
