A tragic accident occurred on September 12 in Los Angeles, California, when 36-year-old Cortlyn Welch-Scheel was struck by a Metro A Line train while crossing East Washington Boulevard at Maple Avenue. The crash happened at about 11:46 p.m., and sadly, she died at the scene, according to authorities. The incident remains under investigation.
