35-Year-Old Raul Augustin Gallopa Killed in Long Beach, CA Accident

Struck by speeding BMW on Fourth Street near Bonito Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on October 6 in Long Beach, California, when 35-year-old Raul Augustin Gallopa was struck by a speeding 2021 BMW 330i while riding his bicycle east on Fourth Street and turning onto Bonito Avenue around 8 p.m. Gallopa was taken to a hospital, where he later died. The driver was arrested for reckless driving. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Ashley van Holland at 562-570-7355.
