Bakersfield man dies after pedestrian collision

A tragic accident occurred on August 16 in Santa Ana, California, when 35-year-old Esteban Ramon Renterian was killed in a pedestrian accident. According to the Santa Ana Police Department, Renterian was crossing southbound at Warner Avenue and Yale Street around 4:53 a.m. when an eastbound vehicle struck him. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
