35-Year-Old Dani Korkis Arrested After El Cajon, CA Accident

12-year-old boy hospitalized with major head trauma

A tragic accident occurred on October 22 in El Cajon, California, when 35-year-old Dani Korkis struck a 12-year-old boy with a BMW X5 in the 300 block of Ballantyne Street near East Park Avenue around 8 p.m. The child suffered major head injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Police later located the damaged BMW and arrested Korkis for felony hit-and-run. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim and his family.
